Idea:

  • Start app launcher in sandbox
  • Overlay applications dir where all Exec= calls are replaced with something like bwdesktop file.desktop
  • Provide a way for bwdesktop to call out of the sandbox
  • Read real .desktop file outside of sandbox and start application
  • Ensure real .desktop files can't be edited within sandboxed
